The National Liberal Club (NLC) is the international home of Liberalism and one of the finest private members’ clubs in the UK. Founded in 1882 by Liberal Prime Minister William Gladstone, we are a place of political debate, discussion, arts, culture and sport. Our thriving community of diverse and eclectic individuals forms the heart of our membership. Built on a foundation of inclusivity, we are proud to be one of the most welcoming clubs in London.

The NLC

The National Liberal Club's Dining room, tables are dressed with linens, flowers and crockery. High windows offer views of the Thames and Embankment gardens, with chandeliers adorning the ceiling.

Afternoon tea is served on the National Liberal Club's outdoor Terrace. A tiered food stand features fresh scones, finger sandwiches and an array of pastries. Two glasses of champagne and a pot of Newby Tea sit in the foreground.
