NLC Business Forum. NLC Member Mr Subbu Loganathan and Mr Alex Safavi will talk about "Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies - A Fraud? A Bubble? Or the end of money as we know it?"  Last year saw a major change in the way that the world viewed bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Though cryptocurrenceies have generated outrageous headlines in the years since their initial introduction, 2017 marked a milestone in their transition from fringe investment to alternative asset. The transition of Bitcoin from being held by a handful of libertarians, technologists and dealers on the fringes of the internet, to being discussed over the Christmas dinner table  over pudding, has been momentous, even at times unsettling.

In this talk we attempt to uncover the myths behind cryptocurrencies, provide some first-hand insights into cryptocurrency investing, give an introduction to Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) and give a demo of one of the major cryptocurrency exchanges.                  All Members and Guests welcome.  6pm gather in the Bar  for 6.45pm start
