The Riverine Club was established in 1881 in the centre of Wagga Wagga, halfway between Sydney and Melbourne on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River as a gentlemen’s retreat. Open Monday to Thursdays - 10am to 9pm. Fridays - 10am to 11pm. The members’ bar, traditional billiard room, historic reading rooms with roaring fires, mixed lounges and dining rooms all combine to create its warm and welcoming feel. Other facilities include accommodation, gardens, squash court, private dining & meeting rooms and parking. Guests welcome. Dress code: Gentlemen – tie and leather shoes. Ladies – dress appropriately to reflect an equivalent standard. During the summer, tie optional. Mobile phones should be on silent and not used in the Members’ Bar, Reading Rm or Dining areas. Bills to be paid as incurred. Letter of introduction and membership card required.
